Reviewed the app for you, i liked the homepage, nice design but I did feel the dashboard could be improved slightly as it was easy to access the sharing URL for the polls.
Looking forward to more features!

@outsprung Paul, this is really useful. Thanks so much. I passed this on to our product team – they might be in touch in the week.

Hey guys, can I get clarity on the Powerups please?
I get the Theme and Pro Pack, but when would the Team Pack be needed?
@leedriscoll Hey Lee, Good to hear from you. Nice to see you found the powerups page (for anyone else http://doopoll.co/powerups/).
So, some of the main use cases for the team pack at the moment are collaborating to create polls in multiple languages. For example, during the Euros one of our team could write a poll in English about the quarter finalists. They could then add another team member as a collaborator and that team member could create a duplicate poll in Welsh and simply translate the questions right away, safe in the knowledge that the poll structure and layout would be the same for everyone. They could then add another collaborator who could duplicate again and translate the poll to French. And so on...
Another use case is when you have multiple topics to cover in a single poll. For instance if we were to send a poll to all our users I could create the poll and pop in some questions about Enterprise usage. I then add Marc and Sam as collaborators and they can add questions on Consumer usage and the Product sides of things accordingly. Hope that helps!

@thedimmick Thanks Steve, that's cleared up everything.

I find google polls good with unlimited everything and best price in the world. What is your USP compared to them?
@ajonit Ankur, we're really focused on making a better way to get more voices into decision making.
Sure, Google Forms allows you to build a form. There are a few polling products out there. But we're really keen on getting it right so that it's as easy for people to participate as possible. Polls on doopoll all happen in real time – a lot of people like that functionality because if they see something happening from the live results, they can add a question without any of their respondents needing to press refresh in the browser.
We think it's a great experience to take part in and use a doopoll. I hope you do too! doopoll is free to use up to 1000 responses per poll and you can make unlimited polls without paying us a penny. Hopefully that pricing is pretty attractive too 😅

Happy birthday @thedimmick & congrats on getting @doopoll on @producthunt today! How is it different from sli.do (which many London events use)?
@anjali28@thedimmick@doopoll@producthunt Anjali, thanks for the question. doopoll is not only a platform for running your live event although a lot of our users already use it for that.
We love the idea that you can use doopoll in front of an audience of thousands (we've done live TV votes already) but also that small businesses can create polls that'll help them decide on their strategy for the future, or equally, kids being able to tell teachers anonymously that they're having problem getting the content of a lesson.
That's really where we differ from other products that focus solely on events – everywhere you go, there are decision making processes that would benefit from giving people a voice and letting them answer easily.
Hope that helps?

If people clear their cache, can they take the poll again and again? how do you stop script trying to automate results? Usefull to know security especially if you are doing live TV event for example.
@tadd31 Interesting question. There are a lot of different use cases, and we are always trying to balance between security, data fidelity, and the speed and ease of response.
Without getting too technical, we limit the number of times a connection can respond which helps to stop automated responses.
We're working on improving this area of our product all the time. If you'd like to talk more (and if you have insights you think are useful - we regularly hire consultants) then DM me with your contact details.

@sgoudie Thank you Samuel, it's good to know you already have something in place. I too had to ban some suspicious IP on some of my campaigns...
@thedimmick nice one fella! something very close to my heart at the moment, building survey tools :) we should chat about integrating doopoll with @dartemail too
@aexmo@thedimmick@dartemail Sounds great! The public beta for our API launches in the next few months. Let's chat! DM me with your contact details and we'll find a time.

It seems as though there are many (MANY) different solutions to the idea of being able to get questions live. Particularly Google Slides now has live questions built right in.
What do you think is going to the 'hook' that makes people say... "Yeah but it ain't doopoll"
@mike_rudge Great question Mike. Well, we're definitely the fastest feedback tool out there right now :) Pretty soon you'll be able to use our API to interface with just about anything too!
We've also put a lot of work into making sure doopoll is actually enjoyable to use. Plus our support team is pretty awesome if we say so ourselves :)
