I built Domain Search King out of pure frustration.
I was naming a new business and did what everyone does now - I asked ChatGPT for domain ideas. It gave me a creative, brandable list and it was exactly the vibe I wanted.
But... every single one was taken.
I went back and asked again. Same thing. I tried Claude, Gemini, Perplexity. All confidently suggesting domains that had been registered for years, some since 1995. None of them had any idea.
That's when I started digging. We ran a systematic test across every major AI model - asking each one for available .com domains and checking every suggestion live against the Verisign registry. The results were worse than I expected.
Up to 94% of AI-suggested domains were already taken. One model returned 0 available domains out of 96 suggestions. Zero.
The problem isn't that AI is bad at naming - it's actually quite creative. The problem is it has no connection to real-time registry data. It's generating names from language patterns, not checking what's actually available. It can't. It's structurally impossible for a language model to know what was registered this morning.
So we built the fix. Domain Search King runs 24 AI models to generate creative names AND verifies every single result live against the registry before it ever reaches your screen. You only see names you can actually register.
Our verified availability accuracy: 98.7%.
It's completely free to search. No account needed. Just type a keyword and find your name in under 5 seconds.
Would love to hear what you're building and what domain nightmare brought you here.

How are you handling trademarks and existing brand names though, since technically available doesnt always mean safe to use?

Love the live verification angle, that's the real pain point. One thing that would seal the deal for me: let me filter by TLD and length in the same view, so I can narrow to something like ".com, under 10 chars" without scrolling through a hundred short .io options. Would make the whole flow feel way faster.

Finally something that doesn't make me check every name manually. Got a solid list of available options in seconds instead of scrolling through endless "taken" pages.
