DogUSign started with Rex - my blue heeler and co-founder. My partner runs a dog walking business and every new client meant the same dance: chase paperwork, figure out behavioural traits and re-sign agreements that nobody kept. Then we started thinking about it from the dog's side. Every time Rex went to a new sitter, vet or groomer - his whole story had to start from scratch. No record of his vaccines, his allergies, the long running fued he has with the Bulldog at No. 22. Just a phone call and a prayer. The paw print idea came first - what if the dog could sign their own service agreement? It was a joke that turned into a product. From there, the dogumentation layer was obvious: if you're signing in, you need something to sign for. A real record. A real identity. Rex is Doggo Zero. Every feature in DogUSign was built around a problem we personally had.
