Hi there! I first encountered how weirdly difficult it can be to generate professional-looking documents when building my first startup in 2020. Over the years, I tried a bunch of solutions and built a couple of my own.
I've seen hundreds of people, in businesses small and large, generate documents and have the same frustrations I did. DocuPotion is the result of all those experiences.
What makes DocuPotion different from the other PDF APIs out there is our AI-powered template builder. Most other solutions hand you a drag-and-drop editor and wish you luck. With DocuPotion, you describe the document you need ("a clean modern invoice with line items, tax, and a signature block") and you get back a working PDF template you can add merge fields into. No design work, no template-builder learning curve.
From there, connect to a data source via one of our integrations (Zapier, n8n, Airtable, Bubble.io) or our REST API and automatically generate your documents. Invoices, contracts, quotes, certificates, shipping labels, reports; pretty much anything you'd otherwise be copy-pasting into a Google Doc.
