Our initial launch focuses on a personal pain point of HTML & CSS to PDF conversion. Our API will generate accurate PDFs based on your HTML and styling quickly. Offering a secure download URL or to receive the bytes directly.
We built this out of personal frustration of no matter where we have worked, there is always demand for document generation.
Starting with HTML to PDF, this has been a common use-case across various teams and companies in our experience. There has never been a go-to solution for converting our HTML and CSS to a PDF that is as accurate as possible, and can be generated fast. Whether it be reports, invoices, service agreements and even certificates from learning systems, there is always some sort of demand for this type of tool. Full CSS support is included, however there is no guarantee the returned file will be 100% accurate.
There are online tools available, but they do not fit into a lot of companies workflows where they want to automate as many steps as they can. Additionally, outside of enterprise-scale companies, some smaller businesses and startups may not have the capacity to implement their own solution.
That is why we have created this API to give SaaS, businesses and developers the ability to easily integrate with our service. They provide the HTML and CSS, we provide the PDF with two options; receive the returned byte stream, or receive a secure download URL which expires after 60 minutes. The flexibility is there.
Response times are around 300ms for single page PDFs, and our service intelligently caches frequently requested files to cut down on both processing and response times.
