Hi Everyone! We're excited to launch here our consumer version of DocOne, free and open to anyone (the enterprise version is still in dev). So far we've tested it with a group of patients, but we're ready to open it up to a broad base of users. To search, start typing a medical condition and select an option from the drop down menu. Search nation-wide, or type in a zip code or city/state. Filter by specialty (the platform knows/displays all relevant specialties for each condition; this helps the user know what type of physician they need). Why DocOne? The complexity of medicine is accelerating exponentially. Medical knowledge doubles every few months. To keep up, physicians are focusing on narrow groups of conditions. While there are ~40 traditional medical specialties, our research has uncovered >500 ultra-specialties. If there’s one thing we’ve heard over and over from physicians (when they need to refer their patients to specialists) and people (when they search for a specialist), it’s that they struggle to identify the right specialists. Typical physician directories (hospital, insurance, 3rd party) are about as helpful as phone books. They don't rely on expertise. They use patient reviews, which have no correlation with expertise. They often sell ads. DocOne is not a directory, but a universal physician ranking system based on an integrative model of physician expertise. DocOne captures and mines large-scale, up-to-date medical knowledge sources, uses data science (computational linguistics, NLP, deep learning etc.) to build models of medical conditions and to rank physicians according to their relevance to any given condition. Thank you in advance for trying it. Excited to have your feedback and help in shaping this product! Best, DocOne team & Kresimir

Hey, seems like incredibly useful product. One suggestion, you can create more reasons to believe for the website if you could add logic behind Expertise value
Kresimir Letinic
@oleksiy_malytskyy Thanks, agreed. We actually had About page that we removed so we can update it but we'll add it back soon.

Absolutely love your product!! I find it strange this product did not get more upvotes. Either way, I believe you can do very well. What is the business model if you mind me asking? I would collect emails and post it of Facebook groups to get more traction. I would also create a comparison chart in the home page that shows the difference of your tool vs the normal path someone would take. I have a few other ideas I could share with you if you are open to it. Let me know. Cheers and keep it up!

@andreslamothe91 Thanks Andres! Re upvotes, it's totally expected. Healthcare is the last thing on people's mind, until they really need it. I appreciate your advice re marketing. Our business model is enterprise subscription (powering physician search for health plans and systems; physicians and patients are the primary users).

We're pivoting to direct to consumer, as the need is greatest and we're best aligned with patients. Please see our new design at docone.io

We've made major updates to the product, including opening up some new information about physicians. In addition to providing free search, we now also offer live help via a chatbot and we can also process remote consults for people. That means help in physician selection and reach out, transfer of medical records and general patient representation at the provider's organization. Please try it. If you or your loved one could benefit from asking an expert opinion, feel free to reach out directly on the site via chat. I'll be the one responding.
