It was slow, clunky, and soul-crushing. So I built a tiny browser tool that let me drop a ZIP, merge everything into one Word file, and auto-insert folder/filename headings. Suddenly I could fly through essays with Word’s Review pane—no tab hopping, no hunting for the next file.
