Hi Product Hunt, I'm Menua from Moon Labs. I leave Claude Code running on a long task and switch to something else. Then it sits on a permission prompt and I only notice when I come back. DockTerm is my fix. It is a desktop app around a real terminal. It keeps your actual claude session and does not replace it with a chat UI. On top of that: - munu, a small face in the MacBook notch (a pill on Windows and Linux). It reads Claude's state from the terminal and shows the permission prompt, even over a fullscreen app, so you can answer without switching windows. It never answers for you. - Live view of subagents while they run, diff review, simple Git, split panes. - Local only: no account, no telemetry, it never calls an AI API by itself. What is not great yet: the download is big because it is Electron, and prompt detection reads the terminal text, so a Claude Code update can break it until I patch it. It is free and MIT licensed.
