Review Dock - Your Universal Drop Space?
Tines Build agents & automations integrated across your workspace
Oh my god finally someone solved this 😭 As a designer, I’m constantly sharing assets, links, screenshots, random text snippets, references etc between devices and I always ended up sending everything to myself on WhatsApp like a maniac 💀
This is actually insanely useful. Clean idea, clean execution. Definitely gonna use this a lot.
What needs improvement
Adding an edit option in the text section would be of great help rest everything's really good.
vs Alternatives
Honestly, because it solves the exact “send it to myself” problem without making it feel heavy or overcomplicated. Most alternatives either feel too file-storage focused, require extra steps, or aren’t quick enough for random links, text snippets, screenshots, and temporary files.
Dock feels instant and frictionless, which is exactly what makes it useful in day-to-day workflow.
Dock solves a small but daily frustration in a very elegant way. The experience feels fast, clean, and distraction-free. I especially liked the 24-hour auto-cleanup combined with the vault - smart balance between convenience and organization.
What needs improvement
Would love browser extensions, drag-and-drop from anywhere, and maybe a quick clipboard sync for text/snippets. A desktop mini-widget could also make the workflow even smoother.
vs Alternatives
I usually use WhatsApp, email, or cloud storage to move files between devices, but they feel heavier for quick transfers. Dock feels much faster and purpose-built for this exact workflow.
