Watch Chris Paine’s new AI movie for free until Sunday night. It examines the many ways AI is already impacting our lives, altering them for better or worse. It asks such questions as: What if election-altering data tools like the ones used by Cambridge Analytica fall into the hands of dictators?
This is the first documentary to cover AI in such depth, breadth, and urgency. Some critics have argued that it doesn't delve deeply enough into each area and that it has a clear "angle" but I disagree. I think it's an excellent and essential film for EVERYONE— from experts in AI to people who don't know what "AI" stands for. This is something that will likely change the course of human history far sooner than we anticipate, and far too few people are aware of what's going on. Chris Paine and co have done an excellent job with this documentary and it should be required viewing.
Pros:Covers an immense amount of informative ground in a short time, VERY timely and essential topic.
Cons:wish it had been longer! but loved it
