I built DMElog because I was trying to solve a problem I deal with every day as a field sales rep.
My day involves planning a territory, deciding which offices to visit, remembering past conversations, logging visits, tracking follow-ups, staying organized, and figuring out the best next step at each account. I was using too many disconnected tools, and none of them really understood how a field rep actually works.
So I started building the tool I wished I had.
What began as a simple way to organize visits evolved into a field intelligence platform that helps reps plan their territory, build smarter daily routes, capture visit history, manage follow-ups, track mileage, and use AI as a coach and field partner before, during, and after each visit.
The biggest evolution was realizing I didn’t want to build another CRM. I wanted DMElog to help answer three practical questions throughout the day: Where should I go? What should I know? What should I do next?
I built it by using it myself in the field, finding friction, fixing it, and repeating that process over and over. DMElog has grown directly from real-world use, and I’m excited to finally start putting it in the hands of other field reps.
