Pick a paid app like Slack, Notion, Adobe Creative Cloud or VMware. You get free and open-source alternatives, each scored against a public checklist, so you can see what it covers and what it doesn't. Many come with a step-by-step switch guide that also tells you what you lose.
Why we built it: most "free alternative" lists never tell you if the switch will hurt. And prices keep going up. So we also track SaaS price hikes, taken from each company's own page, as a table, a CSV and an RSS feed.
Ads are always marked "Sponsored". They never move an app up, and they never take the #1 spot.
