Distill turns messy candidate CVs into ATS-safe, anonymized, beautifully formatted resumes in seconds. Strip names, photos, and bias signals for blind hiring. Auto-format to Bullhorn, JobAdder, Vincere and more. Zero retention. Built for staffing agencies who'd rather submit candidates than wrestle with Word.

Hey Product Hunt, founder here.
Distill started after watching staffing recruiters lose entire afternoons to one task: turning a candidate's messy 4-page CV into something their client's ATS won't reject, while also stripping out names, photos, and graduation years to stay compliant with blind-hiring policies.
What it does:
Reformats any resume to your agency's house template, with presets for Bullhorn, JobAdder, Vincere and other ATSes that recruiters actually live in
Anonymizes names, contact info, photos, schools, dates and toggle each signal independently
Repairs broken PDFs that ATSes silently fail to parse
Zero-retention by default: files are processed and gone. No training, no storage, nothing kept
Why now: EEOC guidance, GDPR, and a growing patchwork of US state blind-hiring laws are turning "manually retyping resumes in Word" into a real compliance risk. Agencies we've spoken to are losing 100+ hours/month per recruiter to it.
Two things I'd love from this community:
Recruiters — what's the worst candidate CV you've ever had to clean up? War stories welcome.
Anyone building in HR tech — I'd love your honest take on the positioning. Does "automated resume cleaning engine for staffing agencies" land, or is there a sharper way to say it?
Happy to answer anything in the comments today.
