Happy Thirsty Thursday, Product Hunt! 🍻🧋🧃🍵☕🍼 Alright first, I've been immersed in short-term rental technology for over 12 years... 🏈 I cut my teeth knocking on doors in college football towns, signing single-family homeowners to a niche vacation rental marketplace I led product on called GamedayHousing. I have some stories! 💩 🌴 Later, I co-founded Vaystays, a two-sided marketplace targeting professional suppliers in the broader market. Integrating it with legacy SaaS platforms helped us to scale to 25K+ listings globally in < 12 months, during which a big problem was revealed: the lodging industry needed a software update! 🆘 💡 This led us to pivot to building Direct, a vertical SaaS platform offering asset management, booking, and back-office tools for vacation rental managers. We streamline distribution to top sites like Airbnb, Vrbo, Google Vacation Rentals, Booking.com, and Expedia, along with offering best-in-class direct booking websites. Now, on to this week's launch... 🗞️ On Tuesday, we officially announced our partnership with RVshare, the largest online RV rental marketplace in the US, signifying our expansion into the rapidly growing RV rental category. It's been a major undertaking, but we're officially live! 🤘 🔧 Our partnership is geared to revolutionize how RV rental businesses operate, bringing top-tier asset management, seamless bookings, centralized guest communications, streamlined distribution, and much more directly to thousands of fleet managers. 🚀 After a few quick steps at RVshare, fleet managers head to Direct, sign in for the first time, and click a button to import and sync their entire RVshare account, fully onboarded in a matter of minutes (not weeks or months, the norm on the vacation rental side).
