While growing up in the Caribbean I was surrounded by amazing food. I was fortunate to have first hand experience helping my mother grow her hotel business and running a small restaurant. At that time being a chef wasn't a job to aspire to in the Dominican Republic so I studied business and law at the university and later a Master's of Quality Management in Spain.
A few years after having moved to Florida with my husband I shared my dream of having a career as a chef. My husband encouraged me to pursue my passion so I went to Le Cordon Bleu and got my degree in culinary arts and started working in the industry.
Upon moving to the Silicon Valley I saw a great demand from companies to serve meals for their teams. The problem was that many people are unsatisfied with the lack of variety and inconsistent quality food they get. This led to launching Dine Republic at the beginning of 2016 to solve this problem and serve all the brilliant minds working creating the future.
