digit is a simple tool we have written to help us visualize live what effects git commands have on the repo.
We use it a lot during our workshops and trainings as a learning tool. We think it's useful to better understand strengths and idiosyncracies of git.
Outstanding feature: the graph is able to show unreachable nodes too.
Note: at the moment, the tool is not meant to scale. It's tested with repos with a couple hundred commits only.
