I built Diff Guru to make text comparison and merging simple, private, and lightning-fast something most existing tools overlook. Many online diff checkers either limit comparisons, store user data on servers, or have clunky interfaces. Diff guru changes that. It’s built with a privacy-first approach all data is processed entirely in the browser, meaning no text is ever stored or sent to a server. It also supports unlimited text merging, so users can freely combine and review changes without restrictions. The focus was to create a developer-friendly, clean UI that works smoothly across all devices, making text comparison effortless and secure. Unlike most diff tools that depend on server-side processing or impose usage limits, Diff guru runs fully in the user’s browser ensuring speed, security, and complete privacy. There are no file size limits, no daily caps, and no login barriers. The unlimited merge feature makes it stand out users can compare and merge as many versions as they need in real time. Its lightweight design, developer-focused interface, and instant processing make it both faster and safer than traditional online diff tools. I’m most proud of how Diff Guru empowers users to work securely and efficiently without compromising on speed or simplicity. Building a tool that’s completely client-side, handles unlimited merging, and maintains a smooth, modern UI was challenging but the result is a fast, private, and reliable platform that genuinely helps developers and writers. Seeing users appreciate that their data never leaves their browser and that everything “just works” is the best part of this launch.
