Hello everyone! I’m Jura Fitzgerald, the creator of Dialogue. We built this app to cheer up people who feel lonely by giving them the opportunity to chat with their favorite actors, influencers, and content creators—something that would be almost impossible in real life. I’m fully aware that AI clones are not a replacement for genuine social interactions, but the reality is that many people can’t afford to go out and hang out with friends every time they feel lonely and want to chat with someone. Dialogue can also be a cool tool for educators, shy teenagers who want to feel a little more confident, and so on. Another reason I created Dialogue is simple. I’ve been building AI products for more than 8 years now, and I can’t even count how many benefits this technology has already brought to the world. Yet, there’s still a discussion about AI taking over the creative economy and taking opportunities away from creators. I wanted to show that AI can do the opposite—it can open a completely new source of income for talented people. And this is passive income—Dialogue generates unique content with an influencer’s clone specifically for each subscriber. An AI clone can record a video message calling a user by name and send generated highly-realistic photos of the clone’s owner. Influencers can also monetize specific content pieces that are available via paid access. Some details on the technology: Dialogue is powered by open-source language models (LLMs) and proprietary algorithms. We have built our own technology for advanced lip-sync and high-performance video generation capabilities. This makes Dialogue the first app to offer a truly customized dialogue experience in real-time via video messages, setting a new standard in the market. This app is amazing for both chatting and having fun! I can talk about my problems with grandmother (whom I never had) and she will give me advice. Sure, it’s not a perfect replacement for real-life conversations, but it’s the best thing I’ve found.
