After 26 years in corporate roles I've had my share of building artefacts like org charts, usually under deadline, in tools that fought me every step misaligned connector lines, boxes that wouldn't sit straight, colours that fought each other. The last straw was watching HR leaders get genuinely excited about an auto-generated org chart in a demo I was running, and then realising the tools they'd have to buy to get that involved shipping every employee's name and job title into someone else's cloud.
So I built dial369 (https://dial369.com).
It's an organogram designer that runs entirely in your browser. You type or paste your names, build your chart, download PDF, PNG or PowerPoint and none of it ever touches a server. There's no upload endpoint to send it to. Close the tab and it's gone.
One thing I'm oddly proud of: once the page is loaded, it keeps working with your internet off. I've sat in airplane mode building charts that's the level of privacy I wanted people to have. The only data that ever reaches us is a licence key check when someone buys Pro.
