Devsy gives teams standardized workspaces that reduce hardware cost, speed up onboarding, and raise developer productivity. Deploy dev environments across Docker, Kubernetes, cloud providers, and SSH hosts.

Hello Product Hunt! Thank you for taking the time to check out Devsy.
I started building Devsy after seeing similar problems in engineering organizations: inconsistent development environments across team members, lengthy onboarding, and the "it works on my machine" but fails at stage issues. Teams often maintain different local setups, making collaboration and cross-team contributions difficult. Developers are also constrained by laptop hardware, forcing them to balance CPU, memory, disk space, and battery life while running heavy applications or complex models.
I wanted a development environment that is reproducible, portable, and capable of running on infrastructure that matches production. I found the Dev Container specification, a standard for defining reproducible development environments; however, I felt the existing tools were lacking in some way and wanted to build a more complete, extensible, and infrastructure-agnostic platform.
Devsy is a platform for deploying and managing devcontainers across Docker, Kubernetes, SSH hosts, and cloud providers. It enables developers and platform teams to create consistent development environments anywhere.
What challenges has your team experienced with onboarding developers, maintaining development environments, or supporting remote development? What capabilities would make a platform like Devsy valuable for your workflow?
I welcome any feedback you would like to share.
