Hey Product Hunt community! πŸ‘‹ Don here, maker of DevSwiss.

Super excited (and a little nervous!) to be launching DevSwiss here today!

Like many of you, I constantly found myself jumping between countless online tools for everyday dev tasks: formatting that snippet of JSON, decoding a Base64 string, quickly testing a regex, generating a UUID, converting a curl command... It felt fragmented, often required an internet connection, and sometimes involved pasting potentially sensitive data into web forms. 😬

That's why I built DevSwiss: a native, offline-first toolkit designed to bring these essential utilities right to your desktop (Current, only support Mac) – like a Swiss Army knife for developers! No more browser tabs cluttering your screen, no more worries about sending data over the internet for simple tasks.

It packs a bunch of tools under one roof – from Base64, JWT, JSON formatting/validation, hashing (SHA, MD5, HMAC), data generators (UUID/ULID), and a Curl-to-Code converter to more specific utilities like a snippet manager, image converter, timestamp tool, and certificate decoder. (Check the description for the full list!).

My goal was to create a fast, reliable, and privacy-respecting toolbox that's always just a click away.

I'd absolutely love to hear your thoughts and feedback!
What kind of offline tools do you find yourself needing most often?
Are there any essential utilities you think are missing from DevSwiss?

Thanks so much for checking out DevSwiss! πŸ™ Let me know what you think!

That looks great!

Wow, this is super handy! Love how lightweight and accessible it is. Offline tools like these save so much hassle when you’re deep in a coding zone or on bad wifi. Cheers to the team for making dev life easier!

This is a dev sanity-saver. Love the offline-first mindsetβ€”especially for those quick tasks where browser tabs just get in the way. Have you thought about adding shell or VS Code integrations? Could make DevSwiss feel even more native to the workflow.

@shreyans_assistivΒ Thanks <3. Current, DevSwiss only version desktop. But in the future, it can appear in vscode extension. If you need any tools at DevSwiss, give me info about it
