Atheling is a text-based, single-player historical strategy game where you rule England through some of its most important moments. Start in 1066 and see if you could have done better than Harold. Manage your dynasty, make political decisions, fight wars, deal with succession, and watch history change around you. The game uses real historical characters and events as a starting point, but every campaign can play out differently depending on the choices you make.
