Hey Product Hunt community! 👋I’m a solo coder and college student who’s been passionate about web development since childhood. Since I’m a solo coder, I don’t have a perfect platform to connect and collaborate with other developers, join public projects, follow organizations, and discover events—all in one place. One night, while lying in my room, I decided to change that. So, I built DevMate from scratch using Django over the last 3 months, balancing it with my studies. 💻DevMate is a social platform crafted for developers to connect, collaborate, and grow together. It’s the first version, so it’s still raw—think of it as a homepage feed where you can post, join public projects, follow organizations, and explore events. It may have bugs, but I’m excited to share it with you! 🚀I’d love to hear your feedback to make DevMate better. Please share your thoughts, ideas, or any bugs you find at: https://www.devmate.space/feedback. Thank you for checking it out—I can’t wait to build this community with you! 🌟

Finally – a LinkedIn built by devs for devs! 💻🤝 This platform cuts through the noise with:

- Code-first portfolios (GitHub/Live Demos > resumes)

- Project radar (find OSS/startups needing your exact skills)

- Event engine (hackathons/meetups tailored to your stack)
