Help OSS developers to add an additional stream of income by monetizing their follower base; 2. Help the customers to reach out to developers. Fun fact: There are 163 users who have more than 10k followers on GitHub (https://github.com/search?q=foll...) The whole project was inspired by this experiment https://feross.org/funding-exper.... I "re-invented" the same terminal ads as did Feross earlier, with the only difference being that I did not start coding:) How does it work? If you are a developer: If you have a large follower count, then signup and apply to available campaigns. After approval, copy & paste generated code to your GitHub ReadMe. You are done! . Now each click on the link will bring you some money. If you are developing a product and targeting developers: Please sign-up and create your campaign. Set the name, dates, and price you are willing to pay. When developers apply to your campaign, review the applications and approve. Now all you have to do is watch the traffic in the GA console. P.S. We have a running campaign that pays 5.99$ per month.
