I’m Morris. I built Develop Log so Log footage from iPhone / DJI doesn’t have to wait for a desk — and so AI can grade like a colorist assistant, not a one-tap filter.
The AI hook: open AI Grade, describe a feel (“Japanese cool daylight”) or attach a reference still. It reads your frame first — luma, clipping, skin tones, white balance — then grades in chat steps, driving only the app’s own tools. Every change is a real slider you can undo or tweak. Frames and messages leave the device only when you use AI Grade, after you agree.
The free path underneath it (what I wanted for myself):
1. Restore with the camera maker’s official Log-to-Rec.709 LUT (Apple Log, Apple Log 2, DJI D-Log M / D-Log / D-Log2; also HLG and regular video).
2. Primary grade under the look — exposure in stops, Kelvin WB, Lift / Gamma / Gain, curves.
3. One-tap official film looks, strength adjustable.
4. Export HEVC 10-bit SDR Rec.709 or HDR HLG, or Live Photos, with original shooting metadata kept.
Pro unlocks secondary (HSL, skin/sky/foliage, masks), texture (grain, halation, vignette…), .cube import, saving looks, and weekly AI. Max is the same toolkit with 20× weekly AI. Optional AI top-ups never expire.
