In my design career, I started getting closer to code many years ago. First small tweaks, then prototypes, then actually shipping things. At many points I realized I didn’t really understand what was going on under the hood, and most coding courses were either too deep or just not made for someone like me. So I started learning on my own, picking only what felt useful. Over time it clicked, and it changed how I design entirely, how I work with engineers, and how I use AI today.
