I've noticed a crazy trend lately: almost every decent PDF editor out there either locks basic features (like merging or signing) behind a massive $15/month paywall, or they force you to upload your highly sensitive documents (like tax forms or IDs) to their cloud servers just to add a signature.
What are you all currently using for quick PDF edits, and are you actually paying those subscription fees?
I got so frustrated with the pricing and privacy risks of the big players that I built DesiDocs.in to solve my own problem. I figured out a way to do all the heavy lifting (editing, signing, merging) entirely offline within the browser, meaning zero server retention and 100% privacy completely free.
I'd love to hear what tools the PH community is using, and if anyone else was as paranoid about uploading their personal docs to random cloud servers as I was!
