The idea for DesaiDo was born during an extreme assignment: I was tasked with coordinating a large Chinese engineering organization and a Swedish car design studio. A new car was to be developed at double speed; something that takes two years to accomplish was to be done in one year. In this high-pressure environment, it became clear that today’s project tools are not enough. DesaiDo was born from a simple question: How can time spent on information searching, emails, and administration be reduced? So that one can focus more on value-creating collaboration. The result was to truly address the elephant in the room: Break free from email as the primary tool for communication and create something new that is adapted to the real need that exists.
