Dental Scope is a free, open source 3D dental learning tool for exploring teeth and surrounding structures in detail. Explore all 32 permanent teeth, switch between FDI, Universal and Palmer numbering systems, and study structures from enamel and dentin to pulp, root canals, jaws, nerves and vessels.

@maxim100000 Thank you,I’m actually a computer science and AI student. I finish my master’s in AI and machine learning in about 8 months, so dentistry is outside my field. That’s why I’m trying to collaborate with dental students and dentists from different countries.
Is there a way to isolate individual structures like enamel pulp or nerves?

@simonclark55 Yes, you can show and hide individual structures like enamel, pulp, nerves and other anatomy separately. I’m also working on making that control even more flexible.
Can users hide those layers when they only want to study a specific tooth?

getting feedback directly from dental students and dentists is the part that'll actually make this good - most anatomy tools get built by a solo dev and never touched by the people who'd catch a wrong root canal count or a mislabeled cusp. are the dentists mostly flagging accuracy issues in the models themselves, or more the numbering/terminology conventions (FDI vs Universal vs Palmer), since those seem to vary a lot by country and dental school?

@galdayan Mostly feedback on the anatomy itself so far. Dental students from different countries are looking at it too, which is useful since terminology and numbering conventions can vary.
