DemoMotion AI is an open-source AI agent turning real web app workflows into narrated product demo videos. Give it a URL and a goal, such as “show how to create a task” or “explain the onboarding flow.” DemoMotion plans the demo scenario, controls a browser, records the screen, generates narration and subtitles, and exports an MP4. It is built for developers, indie hackers, and small teams who wanna explain what they built without manually recording screens, writing scripts, or editing videos.
The browser automation actually navigating the app and narrating the flow feels way more useful than another screen recorder with an AI voice slapped on top. Whoever planned the goal-in, MP4-out pipeline made a smart call.

Finally tried it on a small SaaS I’m building and the onboarding walkthrough came out scarily coherent without me touching a script. The auto narration actually matches what’s happening on screen, which I didn’t expect from an open-source tool.

Gave it a quick spin with a Notion URL and it actually narrated the flow better than I expected, even caught the dropdown interactions. Saving me a ton of script writing time.

Oh, so you actually tried it! That makes me really happy. I think even the OSS version works well enough for simple explanations. Engineers could probably improve it and make it even more useful.
