Describe your idea in one line. Déjà View digs up the companies that tried it before you: when they launched, when they died, what killed them, and who survived. Every finding sourced. Read the obituaries before you write the pitch.
Hey! Amin here :) Every time I had a “new” idea, I’d eventually discover three dead startups that tried the exact same thing, usually after I’d already sunk days into it.
So I built Déjà View. You describe an idea and it researches its real-world predecessors: who tried it before, when they operated, when they shut down, what killed them, and which ones survived. Everything comes with sources, so you can check it yourself.
The point isn’t to talk you out of building. Ideas fail for specific reasons, and knowing which one killed your predecessors is the cheapest homework you’ll ever do.
It’s live at https://dejaview.bsct.so! try it on whatever you’re working on and tell me if the report found anything you didn’t already know!
