With a global workforce, Deel has been a core part of our People Ops stack at Product Hunt. Alex and the team provide some of the best customer support I've ever received. I cannot fault the customer-first mentality of the Deel team, and it is much appreciated. I am always excited for new features to come out - which they have done at pace over the last 12+ months.
Terrible customer service, and using Deel is a nightmare. One of my payments became stuck, and I've been following Deel for the last six months, but they're still asking the same query that they've been asking for the previous six months instead of resolving the issue. I've spoken with over 20 customer service executives about the same issue from the beginning; they don't even have the data to know about the current problem. They prefer not to work on it rather than waste our time. My worst experience with Deel was that I wasted my time describing the same problem 100 times in separate tickets and emails. My firm is likewise pursuing them to address the situation. I've never had a bad or poor customer experience from any company except Deel.
Deel is a super useful tool for managing remote employees & contractors, making payouts and compliance requirements easy.
Horrible, especially since their customer support widget does not work in the middle of conversation and also they do not help even when it is working
Still not supported authorship costs benefit in Poland, causing our take-home salary to be 20% less. And it is all about adding a note to the contract. What a waste of money!
Deel is great! It makes international hiring & projects easily manageable. Such a user-friendly interface too!
My company paid out my salary in the 15th of September. It got withdrew on the 19th please tell me why it’s the 4th of October today and there’s still no sign of me receiving my salary. Customer support is arrogant and unhelpful. Im convinced they are scammers because how can someone’s salary just disappear and none of you know where the money went????
I really really wanted to like Deel, when I was signing up it all seemed so perfect, like one of the most needed solutions out there any maybe they figured it out. Unfortunately the only thing they figured out is what to say to get you to sign up, once you are a customer they simply disappear. I have a small startup with a small team, we counted on Deel to help with HR & Payroll and were excited to partner with them. Since, we have had nothing but countless issues, they charged me fees for services I never received and worst of all they made up their own tax law and are withholding a large chunk of our payroll. These might be honest mistakes, the problem is there is nobody to talk to you. They can ignore your msgs for days on chat, I have emailed over 15 (!) individuals within the company, most never respond, the ones that do will apologize and tell me they are looking into it but nothing gets resolved, ever. I have ongoing issues that started in April, I get the same templated answers every time I try to follow up and that's in the rare event that someone acknowledges my emails. My advise is to stay far away from this company, many businesses mess up but these guys won't own their mistakes or try to actually fix anything. There is no one to talk to but a team that will tell you they are working on your issues. As a startup we have many vendors, partners and companies we work with. Deel has been absolutely without a doubt the worst company I have dealt with in both my personal and business accounts. This is like a really bad car dealership, all nice before you buy, once you give them money you no longer exists. I hope Deel greatly enjoys all the money they took from our company and that they at least feel good because we certainly don't.
Very difficult to use. Terrible UX. Missing features. Customer support is chaos. Probably the worst platform ive ever used.
We're big fans of Deel! Setting up agreements for our international contractors was easy, they had lots of payment options with no issues in processing, and integrating them with our finance stack (eg. accounting software) was smooth.
