Deana turns raw DNA files into private browser reports for health insights, carrier status, traits, and evidence-backed findings. It's private by design with no raw DNA data being uploaded to any server and everything being stored on your device. Optionally, you can choose to use the AI Chat which uses Vercel AI Gateway to interpret findings into something understandable.

Hey Hunters 👋 Deana started as a project just for myself but quickly grew beyond that and has already proven to be helpful for hundreds of people looking to understand more about their genetics. I am a firm believer in preventative medicine and how understand more about your body can allow you live a healthier and longer life. Deana is completely free, and I plan to keep it that way as I firmly believe that this data should be accessible and free to everyone who wants it. Scientists take the time to research and openly publish this on the databases that Deana uses, and so charging for it just feels unethical to me. I really hope people find this as useful and interesting as I have.
