Great for standardizing dev environments in distributed teams, even if working on different platforms.
DDEV is by far the best local development environment creator that you'll come across. It's fast, lightweight and easy to use. Some users may take some time to adjust to it who prefer a GUI over CLI. However, it's the CLI nature which keeps it super fast as compared to any other development environment.
In my opinion - it beats every other local development environment tool - be it LocalWP, Lando, Docksal, Laragon or any other you might have come across. And not just because of all the features that it packs but the fact that Randy and various other contributors provide a level of support that is hard to find even when you've paid for a product. And we're talking about an open-source project here.
Randy and the whole DDEV community has fantastic support, a professional attitude, and a devotion to this space that's unparalleled.
