Ship cleaner dbt models, automatically. DBT Lint is a lightweight SaaS tool that lints your dbt projects for you β no local setup, no CI config wrangling. Just upload your project files and let a background job scan your models for style issues, naming inconsistencies, and best-practice violations, then get a clear report you can act on.
I'm Jeremy Bui, solo founder/maker of DBT Lint.
If you work with dbt, you know the drill β model quality tends to drift as a project grows, and unless someone's manually enforcing style and structure, things get messy fast. I built DBT Lint to fix that without adding more overhead to your workflow.
Here's how it works: you upload your dbt project as a zip, and DBT Lint runs sqlfluff + lint checks across all your models in the background. You get back a project score and concrete, actionable recommendations on where your SQL and configs could improve β no CLI setup, no CI pipeline changes, just upload and get results.
I built this because I wanted something dead simple for analytics engineers and small data teams to check project health without wiring up sqlfluff configs themselves.
Would genuinely love your feedback β what would make this more useful for your team? Bugs, feature requests, brutal honesty all welcome. π

Report
Uploaded a messy dbt project and the report flagged naming inconsistencies I'd been ignoring for months. Liked that I didn't have to touch CI just to see the results.
Report
would love to see a github action that auto comments on PRs with the lint findings, would save the team from having to check the dashboard every time before merging.

Uploaded a messy dbt project I had lying around and the report actually flagged some naming inconsistencies I had been ignoring for months. Wish the free tier let you scan more than one project at a time though.
