Hi Product Hunt! I'm Dhiren, the maker of Day1.
Thanks for checking us out!
The idea for Day1 came from a simple observation: people rarely get a chance to practice important conversations before they happen.
Whether it's a sales discovery call, a customer meeting, a job interview, a negotiation, or a difficult conversation with a client, most people learn by making mistakes in real situations. Existing role-play tools are often static, scripted, or require another person to practice with.
We wanted to build something different.
Day1 lets you practice realistic conversations with AI personas that respond naturally based on your product, company, industry, and goals. You can create custom scenarios, upload company knowledge, and receive coaching and feedback after every session.
Some things you can practice today:
- Sales discovery and demo calls
- Objection handling and negotiations
- Job interviews
- Customer support conversations
- Company-specific role-play powered by your own knowledge base
Building Day1 has been an incredible learning experience. We spoke with sales professionals, customer success teams, and founders to understand where traditional training falls short. The product has evolved from a simple sales simulator into a platform for practicing any high-stakes business conversation.
We're still early, and we'd genuinely love your feedback.
Some questions we'd especially appreciate your thoughts on:
- Is the product positioning clear?
- Which conversation types would you want us to support next?
- What would make Day1 part of your team's training workflow?
Thank you for taking the time to check out Day1. We'll be here all day to answer questions and would love to hear your ideas and feedback!

How does Day1 actually pull in the call data, does it integrate directly with Zoom and Gong or do I need to forward recordings somewhere manually?

@uuruz0q Great question, Uğur! At the moment, Day1 is focused on AI-powered conversation simulations rather than automatically pulling data from Zoom or Gong. We're exploring integrations like these as part of our long-term vision, but they're not available yet. Thanks for the suggestion - it’s definitely on our radar! 🚀

How does Day1 actually pull in the call data, does it plug into Zoom and Gong out of the box or do you need a custom integration?

@ulevy36 Thanks for the question, Şule! Currently, Day1 doesn't integrate directly with Zoom or Gong out of the box. Right now, we're focused on helping users practice realistic conversations with AI. Native integrations are something we'd love to add as the platform evolves. 😊

How does it actually keep the AI roleplay scenarios current without manually tagging or re-recording calls every time your pitch changes?

@durupy94 That's a great question, Duru! Today, scenarios are created and managed within Day1 rather than automatically updated from live call data. Our long-term vision is to make scenarios much more dynamic and continuously informed by real-world conversations, but we're taking it one step at a time. Really appreciate the feedback! 🚀

Does it pull live from Zoom/Meet calls in real time, or do recordings get processed after the meeting wraps up?

@furkan5sdk Great question, Furkan! Yes, we're working toward supporting real-time integrations with platforms like Zoom and Google Meet. Our vision is to provide live coaching and feedback during conversations, not just afterward. Thanks for asking! 🚀

finally something that actually updates the battle cards based on real call content instead of someone manually editing them after the fact. the roleplay practice using fresh objections from the week feels way more useful than the scripted scenarios i have seen elsewhere.

@miray141473 Thanks so much, Miray! 🙌 That's exactly what we're aiming for - realistic, up-to-date practice instead of static scripts. Really appreciate you taking the time to check out Day1!
