This is refreshing—the privacy-first approach feels genuine, especially for something this personal. On your three questions: the "no cloud" promise reads clearly, but consider emphasizing it visually during onboarding since people are conditioned to expect cloud sync. The free tier hits the right balance—useful enough to prove value without artificial limits. The insights (tag correlations, time-of-day patterns) feel substantive rather than gimmicky because they're actually actionable for understanding your mood triggers.
@osakasaul Thank you, this is genuinely useful feedback 🙏
The onboarding point is a good one - you're right that people are so conditioned to expect cloud sync that "no account needed" can read as "we'll ask for it later." I'm going to revisit the privacy screen and make the local-first promise more visual instead of just text. Maybe an explicit "your data never leaves this phone" with an icon, rather than burying it in a bullet point.
Really glad the insights landed as actionable rather than gimmicky - that was the bar I was trying to hit. The tag correlations especially took a while to tune (minimum 3 uses, delta thresholds, etc.), so it surfaces real patterns instead of noise from a single bad day.
Appreciate you taking the time to give specific feedback on all three 🌅
