DavaReminder is an offline-first, private medication tracker for your family. No accounts required — secure local SQLite database, haptic dose confirmations, family profiles, and automatic low-stock refill alerts. Download free on Android.

How does the refill alert work if everything stays stored locally — does it ping me based on doses logged or do I have to manually update stock levels?

How does the refill alert actually determine when a medication is running low, especially if doses are skipped or taken at different times than scheduled?
@sevgivnzu Great question! DavaReminder updates medication stock when a dose is marked as taken. Refill alerts are triggered when the remaining quantity falls below the threshold set by the user.
Skipped doses don't reduce stock, and taking a dose a little earlier or later doesn't affect the calculation since it's based on actual intake. Thanks for asking! 😊
How does the family profile sync work if everything stays local on one device? My partner and I both need to see when meds are running low but I don't want to hand my phone over every time.
@sadkkuakljkm This feature is not available currently but it will be done in 2 days , I am working on it

finally tried this with my partner and the offline setup was a relief, no logins or weird permissions. the haptic buzz when confirming a dose is a surprisingly nice touch for my dad who tends to forget his evening pills.

Offline-first is a huge plus for something this personal, and the SQLite approach makes me trust it more than cloud-dependent alternatives. The haptic confirmation after logging a dose is a small touch but really does help build the habit.
@erdemzdzmxx3 Thanks for your kind words , would love if you try the app , google play store has rejected the app saying developer account should be organization for uploading an health related app , so it will take time to be on play store

Love that this stays fully local with SQLite instead of pushing everything to the cloud. The haptic dose confirmations sound like a thoughtful touch for accessibility too.

The offline-first approach with local SQLite is a really thoughtful choice for something handling sensitive health data. Nice work making family profiles feel lightweight instead of burying them in settings.
