Hello Hunters! We are pleased to announce our last release. We have finally converted datedropper jQuery into a pure Javascript library. You no longer need to include any other libraries apart from the all-in-one datedropper file. We’ve also introduced a lot a new really cool features to give you much control over the date selection. We have also taken care to improve network performance by reducing the overall weight to only 30kb making datedropper the lightest datepicker library ever. So here we go, we are now finally ready to hear the feedback of the PH community. What would you add? What do you like? How can we improve our product? Go ahead, it’s extremely important for us! ^_^

I'm not a fan of how functionality is hidden behind mouse rollovers. Interactive elements should be obviously interactive at a glance. For example, it wasn't obvious that I could pick a different year by rolling over the year. I also really dislike how picking a date far in the past requires me to do a different click for every single year. If I want to pick a date 20 years in the past, that requires 20 clicks! No offense, but how in the world is this considered good UI/UX?

@tomchapin Hi Tom, first of all, thank you for your opinion. If you had done a deeper analysis, you would have discovered that all the options you rightly pointed out are in fact already available and can be activated as needed. Just for a purely aesthetic reason we have decided to hide some elements by default where not extremely necessary, especially where the action to be performed is quite spontaneous. I think the greatness of our product is precisely this, the ability to readapt to any need. Thanks again.

Been a premium user of Datedropper for years, loving it. But I would love to see a pure inline version of calendar. There are occasions when we need to permanently show a full calendar.
