Hey, We are happy to announce that we are doing an open beta of the new product Datapulse.app - a new simple & joyful analytics tool for your next project. Our goal is to make analytics, looking at how your projects grow fun again. We have a roadmap ahead for the product and we will be adjusting it and pivoting within your reactions and feedback. During the open beta period, our app is available to you completely free of charge. However, as we transition to the official launch, we will introduce pricing plans. Rest assured, you will have the flexibility to choose whether to continue using our service or opt-out, and we will provide the option to export your data seamlessly. Remember this is beta so please give us some slack 🥹

Congrats with the launch! I am really missing the simple visitor’s counter. Does it show the source of traffic?
Piotr Miłoszewski
@gregz It does in a very basic way right now, we cooking an update for that. Roadmap is quite ambitious, we are testing interest right now tho

Very lightweight simple solution, accessible to anyone looking for basic stats recording and overview without the hassle of going through complex data analytics or CRMs, in its current state. I see this being very fit for professionals seeking to track basic activity on their personal websites. Announced incoming features might be making this appealing also to medium sized businesses, when released. Signup process is equally simple and straightforward (literally 15 seconds), and the script integration is a copy and paste quick action. There's one thing I'd personally improve and that's when I reached the Waiting for first pageview screen after registration and integration: I'd add something like REFRESH YOUR SITE and THIS MIGHT TAKE A FEW MOMENTS because for a whyle a dummy user might be under the impression that something went wrong. Just my 2 cents of course. Two small things that need makers' attention, though: 1- There's an email verification step which is not highlighted during registration; I discovered the confirmation email by chance a while after registration because I happened to check my emails for other reasons (and I was lucky it didn't go to spam or I wouldn't have noticed for a while). I would add a note at some point telling the user to check their mailbox for confirming their email address. 2- On Workspace -> Settings -> General (https://datapulse.app/dashboard/...) the URL attached to the GENERAL tab is wrong (https://datapulse.app/settings/g...) and it returns a 404 Page not Found. Other than that, I like it and support it and I'm looking forward to check the incoming features. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thinking about it, it would be cool to be able to get a daily or weekly pdf report via email. I think many personal businesses who just need a basic monitoring of their traffic would appreciate a report delivered to their door and it would also be an incentive to come back to the platform and and a reminder of the valuable service they are paying for, when you will add subscription plans. Grats again!

@fabiosalvadori Thanks for the feedback, Fabio! Fixing this stuff right! We got some reports cooking in our roadmap so I think we are thinking in a similar direction 🫡
