Datafromfile turns PDFs, scans, photos and spreadsheets into a clean table you can edit, then export to Excel, CSV or JSON.
Why it exists: copying tables out of invoices and bank statements by hand is slow, and AI extraction on its own can quietly get a number wrong. So after the AI reads the document, a second check that doesn't use AI does the arithmetic:
ā¢ Invoices: subtotal + tax ā discount = total, and each line multiplies out
ā¢ Bank statements: opening balance + money in ā money out = closing balance, to the cent, with any rows that don't fit highlighted
Bank statements can also be exported in QuickBooks Online, Xero and FreeAgent import layouts.
Other ways in: forward a file by email, import from Google Drive, right-click with the Chrome extension, or use the API.
There's a free plan, no card needed. Feedback is very welcome, especially on documents it gets wrong.
