5, 4, 3, 2 ... Okay let's get to it. After weeks of writing code and running some tests, I am delighted to present to the universe, Dash Forms. You will now read about the what brought about this project, what features it has, and how it can help you, if you are a developer. The story 🤓 Once upon a time I had a task to work on 5 coming soon pages. It seemed simple enough. All I had to do was code a simple page and throw in some input elements. I cut through the first one like butter (with a hot knife of course); I set up a database, connected it to the website, and that site was collecting form submissions in a few minutes. So on to the second I went. Then the third. Then the four... hold up 🤔. I'm doing the same thing over and over again with tiny changes. Pretty boring. So I thought to myself, has anyone in the universe built some sort of project I can use to get rid of this mundane process of setting up entire databases for such simple use cases? A link I could just send a POST request to and have my data securely saved as though I had my own backend developer? Well I found a couple, but with wild limitations I couldn’t comprehend, I made a decision. The decision was to build a simple project, that allows developers to avoid the need to easily collect form submissions from their apps and websites, have them securely saved, and even optionally receive emails for each submission. Yea that's 3️⃣ features already, easy, secure, and email notifications. Others include: ⚡️ Unlimited forms (projects) ⚡️ Custom form schema, because the project can apparently be used for waitlists, contact pages, feedback forms, and similar areas. You get it. ⚡️ Unlimited submissions to the forms you create ⚡️ Data export (json and csv) More features in active development include: 👨‍💻 Data analysis in the form of graphs 👨‍💻 Record integrity (where no two entries may bear the same say, email) 👨‍💻 File attachments when submitting forms 👨‍💻 Custom webhooks This is the end of the message. <-- 1 --> and this is the one I left out in the countdown earlier 👆. Give Dash Forms a try and let me know what you think yes? Thanks.
