Training and performance app for darts players: Gauntlet assessment for your Dartsva grade, personalized multi-week plans, and practice that feels purposeful, not random throwing.
Hey, I'm Kevin, I built Dartsva.
I hit the same wall most darts players do. I knew I should practice more, but "practice more" isn't a plan. I'd throw for an hour, do some checkout drills, and have no idea if I was actually getting better. Average stuck, doubles stuck, nothing to point at and say that's what I'm working on.
So I built the app I wanted. It gives you a quick 5 minute assessment that spits out a rough grade, then a real training plan based on it. 501 on Monday, checkout ladder on Tuesday, grouping drill on Thursday. Every session has a target, and it's built to finish in about 30 minutes, since that's all most of us get.
The other big piece was logging. If scoring takes 30 seconds per throw it kills the flow, so the numpad entry is designed to log a visit in 2 taps and get out of your way.
For launch I put up a landing page and a waitlist first to see if anyone even cared, then ran early access with a small group of players. Their feedback shaped a lot of the UI. The app's live now so the 5 minute test is free to try, you get a grade and a plan from it.
