Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I am a programmer and a father. In my interactions with my child, especially when setting long-term tasks, I found that the commonly used to-do apps do not meet some of my specific needs. Currently, there are collaborative to-do apps available, but since my child is still young, they only need to participate as virtual characters within the app. As a parent, I am responsible for setting up relevant plans for them. Beyond customizing and tracking plans, the most crucial aspect is figuring out how to instill long-term determination and perseverance in both the children and myself to follow through with these plans. To address this, I introduced a "Star Coin" incentive mechanism. Upon completing each task, a corresponding Star Coin reward is given. These Star Coins can be exchanged for rewards. You can discuss with your children what rewards are appropriate, fostering positive interaction without them even realizing it. For instance, initially, I wasn't sure how many Star Coins were appropriate to assign. Later, I realized I had set too many, so as the issuer of Star Coins, I needed to increase the number required for prize redemption. This led to discussions with my children about "inflation," resulting in many unique interactions. I've also added personalized icons and data charts to the app. Although design isn't my forte, I've ensured to do my best. The app is free for up to 2 members and allows for the addition of an unlimited number of habits. However, certain additional features such as personalized theme icons and cloud backup require an upgrade to the professional version. Currently, the app is only available for download on the App Store. Due to the new mechanism requiring 20 continuous testers for 14 days for individual developers, it is not yet possible to launch on the Play Store. 😭 I hope my product can be of help to you, and I'd absolutely love to get your feedback!
