DailyEdition

The idea behind DailyEdition came to me over my nearly 20 year career. While working at Splunk and later at New Relic I was often asked by my customers, particularly the decision makers, if we could provide regularly scheduled summary reports, especially for managers and executives. This request went mostly ignored but it never went away. In 2020 I read an article about the emergence of language models being used to generate text for minor league sports and for small-cap stocks reporting. I thought, we should apply the same technology to the data in a company's sales and marketing systems of record. So I set out with some friends and former colleagues to build DailyEdition. The result is like having your own personal journalist, it's like the WSJ except all the stories are coming from the data of your internal business systems. It takes minutes to setup it's extremely tweak-able and it costs less than most newspaper subscriptions.
