How does the AI writing assistant actually work for the Dutch market, does it pull from local job listing trends or is it more of a generic template filler?
@cemilqlcd Hi Cemil, good question, and I'll be straight with you: it's neither a generic template filler nor a live job-market scraper. Under the hood it's a large language model, but with prompts I tuned specifically
for the Dutch market: it writes in Dutch the way Dutch CVs actually read (first person, no buzzword soup), gets the tense right (present for your current job, past for older ones), and keeps things ATS-friendly.
The key part: it works from your own input, not a template. You tell it your role and what you did, and it turns that into sharp, natural bullet points and a profile summary.
So it's your real experience, just written the way a recruiter wants to read it. (I read a lot of CVs for my work, so the prompts are basically "what makes me stop skimming".)
What it does not do, and I won't pretend otherwise: it doesn't pull live job-listing data or local hiring trends yet. Interesting idea for later, though. Today it's about turning what you did into how it lands.
Happy to go deeper if useful!
Tried a template and the ATS-friendly format actually looks clean when I pasted in my own experience section. Pricing per download instead of a subscription is a nice touch for anyone who only updates a cv once a year.
@helinkrbass57p Thanks Helin, that's exactly what I was going for. A CV has to clear the ATS software and still look good to the human who reads it right after, so hearing it looks clean with your own content is the best feedback I could get.
And you nailed the reasoning on pricing: a CV is a once-in-a-while thing, so a subscription never made sense to me. Pay €2 when you actually need the download, no account, nothing to cancel later. Glad it clicks!
Really like how the download stays as a one-time €2 instead of forcing a subscription, such a relief compared to most resume builders. The ATS-friendly templates look clean too.
