CV Cat actually came from my own pain point.
I started solo. When I first started hiring, one of my job posts got bumped and suddenly I had hundreds of CVs coming in.
I had no good way to screen them.
Applications kept arriving. Some candidates were clearly good, but maybe too expensive for me to hire today. Others might be a better fit for a future role. I didn’t want all of that information to disappear into a folder full of PDFs.
What I really needed was one candidate database.
So I built CV Cat.
