As someone who regularly works with various types of ACF field groups, I often needed a straightforward way to export data from specific fields and import it into a production site. I also wanted a reliable way to back up and version control the data from complex field groups for easy recovery if something went wrong. That’s why I created Custom Fields Snapshots - to simplify these tasks and provide a more efficient workflow for developers and site administrators. The plugin is free, works with both ACF Free and ACF Pro, and is fully multisite compatible.
