Instead of following a guide that doesn't match your screen, you see exactly where to go, and you remember it next time. It only points. Hey PH, I made this because I got tired of being my family's tech support. My mum would call every week stuck on something basic -change a setting, find a file, stop Windows restarting mid-task -and the "how to" guides she found online never matched what was actually on her screen. So Cursorly does the opposite of doing it for you. You hit a hotkey, type what you're trying to do, and a second cursor goes and points at the exact button you need. You still click it yourself. The whole point is that you see where things are and actually learn it, instead of calling someone every time. That's also why it only ever points and never clicks or takes control. It's your computer -you should stay in the driver's seat. It's early and rough, free, Windows 10/11. The thing I'd most like to know: what's the one task you always forget how to do on your PC? @nicole_hynek Thanks Nicole! 🙏 It's not a fixed list of supported apps. Cursorly reads whatever app is open through the Windows accessibility layer, so it works across most standard Windows apps out of the box Settings, File Explorer, the Office apps, browsers, that sort of thing.
