What became possible in your product with Astra that was not practical before?

Astra did all the heavy lifting here.
1) Drive optimization of the LLM pipelines in the background to reduce cost and latency. I simply provided potential tools to try. "Hey Astra, I just got out of JEV waitlist. Maybe it helps? Here are the docs. => 10x reduction in processing for SF311 items)
2) Given a few credentials and a general tech stack direction build the whole thing e2e with minimal steering. Vibecoded almost entirely.
3) Given a half-assed screen recording video create a "demo" video only using ffmpeg. Wow! It got so much from so little I gave it!

Since I moved to SF I picked up:
2 regular chairs. 1 gaming chair. A coffee table. A lamp. And enough other random curb finds that I started wondering how much good stuff is just sitting out there at any given moment.
That turned into CurbKEA: a map of free stuff around the city.
It's amazing how quickly letting an agent cook turns into something much better than browsing 5 facebook groups and craigslist.
